The story of Fait Maison
Fait Maison is home to the renowned Executive Chef, Yvonne Osman (better known as Om Waleed to her friends and followers), famed for her beautifully spiced Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean inspired dishes.
Fait Maison has three central London restaurants and a branch in Doha, Qatar. Each branch is a celebration of wonderful food in elegant surroundings, serving up menus created by chef Om Waleed, along with a fantastic array of homemade desserts and patisserie.
We are truly committed to creating the freshest, most delicious dishes that are healthy, nutritious, wholesome and simply bursting with flavour.
The company was initially established in 2001 by great friends and enthusiastic food lovers Mohamed Osman and Mohamed El Banna. The first branch opened in Stratford Road, Kensington W8, with a French traiteur-inspired concept, allowing customers to choose from a selection of beautifully displayed dishes.
Fait Maison in Kensington soon became a firm favourite locally, providing a really different eating experience, striving to ensure its own individuality and delighting its customers with the high standard of food.
In August of 2015, the company took a new direction, when Yvonne Osman (known to her friends and followers as Om Waleed), became Executive Chef and Creative Director opening our flagship branch at 144 Gloucester Road. From that point the Fait Maison has moved forwards with great energy and enthusiasm. Om Waleed’s wonderful knowledge of world cuisines and mastery of spices brought a whole new style of cookery with a fantastic middle-eastern twist.
Yvonne is passionate about design and decoration and this is reflected the presentation of her dishes as well as the fabulous decoration at all of our branches.
